QuickBeam Energy was formed as a joint venture between the 6/10 Corporation and the Krieger Electric Company with the specific intent of entering the solar electric market in the State of Florida.
Krieger Electric Incorporated has been operating continuously since 1945. They have been a Florida State Certified Unlimited Electrical Contractor since 1977. The 6/10 Corporation is the owner, developer and manager of a diversified portfolio of Florida commercial properties. Properties included in the portfolio include office, data center, industrial, retail and undeveloped land. The QuickBeam Management Team
Carl “Bud” J. Strang, President
Bud Strang currently serves as president of the board of QuickBeam Energy. In his role Bud provides strategic direction and leadership to the company. He received a BA from the University of Florida and a law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Mr. Strang has extensive experience in the start-up, growth and development of a variety of business ventures. As President of 6/10 Corporation, the majority stockholder of QuickBeam, Mr. Strang has significant experience in a number of diverse businesses including real estate, agriculture, software and business services. In addition, Mr. Strang has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1983. As a Florida Central Florida native, he is active in civic affairs in Winter Haven and Polk County.
James Grebey, Chief Operating Officer
James is a hands-on executive whose career has progressed successfully from engineering to operations management. He is the Chief Operations Officer responsible for the day to day operations of QuickBeam Energy. As an executive, Mr. Grebey’s experience includes a strong track record of building winning technology teams for both large and small businesses in both private and government markets. He has successfully transitioned his engineering problem solving skills to that of a leading business analyst; executing growth strategies for evolving companies by building high performance teams resulting in increased revenues, lowered operating costs, and improved customer satisfaction. Mr. Grebey graduated from NYIT with a Bachelor in Computer Systems. He has written numerous articles on technology investing and operations management and has broad experience in analytic cost modeling.
Hap Hazelwood, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Hazelwood is the Chief Financial Officer of the 6/10 Corporation, QuickBeam Energy’s corporate parent. As such, he is responsible for financial leadership for QuickBeam Energy. He has a BA from Carthage College, Majored in Accounting and Marketing and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin, Parkside. He has previously served as a Senior Vice President for the Barnett Bank of Polk County and as a Senior Vice President for the First Wisconsin Bank. Mr. Hazelwood is highly active in the community and has served as past President of Abiding Savior Luther Church Council. He also serves as President and Board Member for Habitat for Humanity of East Polk County.
Charles M. Wilson, Vice President, Engineering
Charles is responsible for the design and installation of our solar energy systems. He oversees the design and installation of our projects, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of compliance and quality. He is also responsible for researching the most updated solar technology trends and ensuring that our customers have access to the best technology available. Mr. Wilson received a degree in Computer Science from Washington and Lee University in Virginia. He has worked in the telecommunications industry and the federal government leading the development of complex information systems projects. In 2005, Mr. Wilson joined the United States Peace Corps as a business development and IT volunteer in Honduras, serving in country for two years. Since his return to the United States, Charles has worked to create and establish QuickBeam as a leader in the Florida Solar Industry. Mr. Wilson is a certified Solar PV Installer.
Lynnette Acosta, Vice President, Marketing
Ms. Acosta is responsible for the planning and execution of QuickBeam’s marketing strategy. In her role, Lynnette is responsible for developing the processes and infrastructure needed to meet QuickBeam’s growth goals. Ms. Acosta graduated with a B.A. on Management of Information Systems from the University of Puerto Rico. Prior to joining QuickBeam Energy, she worked for General Electric as a project manager, where she used Six Sigma and Information Technology to improve the operational processes of their Healthcare Financial Services business. She also served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Honduras where she worked with small business owners to improve their practices in the areas of general management, process improvement, marketing, accounting, and information technology.
Kerry M. Wilson, General Counsel
Kerry Wilson is a principal and general counsel for QuickBeam Energy. He earned his B.A. degree from Duke University, where he was the recipient of the William T. LaPrade Award for the best honors thesis in history. He received his law degree from Washington & Lee University. Mr. Wilson has served on the board of directors of the Citrus Center Boys & Girls Clubs, Inc. since 1989 and has twice served as President of that organization. He is a founding director and President of Speak Up for Children, Inc., a non-profit agency advocating the local guardian ad litem program for abused and neglected children and a director and former President of Main Street Winter Haven, Inc.
